About the opportunity:

We are looking for a Head of Buying to manage our energetic and growing team across our Haircare, Skincare, Cosmetics, Tools and Fragrance categories in Australia!

You will be responsible for relationship management across all beauty partners, maximizing sales and margins, developing the ranges and driving continual growth across the AU Retail sites.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver budgeted revenue, profit and margin for the Australia & New Zealand regions by optimising range, pricing, stock health & availability
  • P&L responsibility and management across all brands.
  • Negotiating optimum trading terms with new and existing suppliers.
  • Recruiting new and exciting Beauty brands to work with us.
  • Coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential within the business.
  • Reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of promotions, taking appropriate action where necessary.
  • Develop, implement and deliver brand plans including range reviews, promotions and pricing ensuring consistency with commercial strategy

About you:

We are searching for an energetic and highly seasoned senior Buyer with experience leading a team, specifically within the beauty industry.

You will also possess:

  • A strong track record of management and delivery.
  • Experience in managing and partnering with brands spanning a range of sizes.
  • The ability to coach and mentor members in the team, ensuring their professional development.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • A commercially focused approach.
