JOB DESCRIPTION

Trees and Bees

We rejuvenate farmland with Australian native trees and shrubs, which are known for their prized honey production. 

We work our hives throughout the south of WA chasing the prized endemic honeys of this state.

We currently nurture 10 loads of bees, with plans to expand further.

We are looking for ambitious, energetic people, who love the beekeeping lifestyle.

Role & responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  •  Lifting & pulling honey
  •  Moving our hives around the state to follow the best honey flows
  •  Keeping our fleet on the move, delivering boxes out to site & back to the factory
  •  Working in both a small team and at times solo
  •  Extracting honey in our base factory
  •  Breeding queens

Requirements:

  •  Must have 2 years of beekeeping experience
  •  Must have minimum MR truck licence (HC preferred)
  •  Fit and healthy
  •  Self-starter and motivated to meet this challenge
  •  Significant country travel and living away from home

The company will provide all the training and any resources required for the successful individual to achieve the agreed goals.

Remuneration will depend on the experience of the candidate.

Salary range $50,000 to $70,000
