The Role You Could Play

With over100 stores across Australia and New Zealand and over 150 of the best beauty brands in the world, we have a unique opportunity for a Merchandise Unit Coordinator to join our Range & Space team. As a Merchandise Unit Coordinator, you will be responsible for the end to end coordination of branded merchandise units and their seasonal updates, encompassing forecasting, ordering, allocation and maintenance for both existing and new stores.

You will drive and deliver best in class execution of all branded merchandise in our stores, ensuring the best possible experience for the customer, along with meeting brand expectations.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

  • Managing the ongoing supply for brands on what merchandise units are required including forecasting, ordering and allocation
  • Liaising and coordinating with teams from across the business taking into consideration brand requirements and new store pipelines
  • Leading the execution of brand overhauls, ensuring all cross-functional stakeholders are engaged & clear on their roles to support the delivery
  • Managing the maintenance process for merchandise units already in-store
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and clear on what is happening at all times with all elements of merchandise units, so any issues can be resolved collectively & efficiently 
  • Implementing improvements, ensuring thorough internal & external stakeholder management to ensure success

What You Will Bring

You are passionate about problem solving and continuous improvement ensuring that we are always delivering for our brands and focusing on the best possible experience for our customers. Your friendly personality and excellent communication skills will allow you to comfortably communicate with all levels of the business and fit into our unique team environment.

Specifically, we are looking for someone who:

  • Has minimum 2 years’ experience in a customer focused selling environment preferably a MECCA Brands store
  • Is results driven, with impeccable attention to detail
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment and under pressure to complete tasks to set deadline
  • Is highly organised with excellent time management skills
  • Has strong problem-solving skills and drive for continuous improvement
  • Has strong business acumen including understanding of KPIs and other performance metric
  • Has excellent communication skills with the ability to work with cross functional stakeholders
  • Is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
